Edge's management team brings over 80 years of experience in technology, sales leadership and managing successful entrepreneurial ventures with firms such as Teradyne, Digital Equipment, Apple, IBM and Oracle.

Sam B. Bishop, Founder, CEO and Chairman

Sam Bishop has guided the company from its beginnings in 1985 as reseller/systems responsible for establishing the strategic direction of the company, directing Edge's fund- raising activities and being its representative to the financial and client communities. Sam has been recognized throughout the industry for his achievements, including being named Illinois Minority Small Business Person of the Year in 1992. Sam Bishop has over 30 years experience in the information technology industry and has held management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and UNIQ Digital Technologies. Mr. Bishop received a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois and has also completed graduate level coursework at the University of Illinois in Computer Science.

S. Alexander Bishop, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. S. Alexander Bishop began working at Edge Systems in October of 2001. Mr. Bishop's responsibilities include managing the day to day financial operations of Edge Systems. Mr. Bishop was the successful owner of Bishop Engineering, a company in which he still has an interest in although he is no longer involved in its day to day activities. Prior to this, S. Alexander held senior-level management positions at Teradyne Inc. Cumulatively, S. Alexander has over 30 years of management experience. Mr. Bishop received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois in Engineering
